The Department of Veterinary Surgery focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of diseases, injuries, deformities, and organ disorders in animals using surgical methods.
Students receive both theoretical and practical training in sterilization, wound healing, anesthesia and pain management, surgical techniques, and postoperative care.
Training is supported by lab work, clinical practice, and real-life cases to enhance surgical skills, hygiene compliance, and equipment proficiency.
Surgery is one of the foundational branches of curative veterinary medicine.
Our teaching hospital is equipped with fully sterile operating rooms and advanced surgical tools for routine operations.
