Future Vets

Association Objectives

  • To foster academic, social, and professional solidarity among students undergoing veterinary education.
  • To organize activities and projects that provide students with clinical and research experience.
  • To conduct awareness campaigns to enhance public health and animal welfare consciousness.
  • To encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience through cooperation with national and international veterinary student associations.

Association Goals

  • To organize a minimum of 3 scientific and 2 social events in every academic semester.
  • To arrange seminars, workshops, and internship opportunities that contribute to the professional development of the members.
  • To establish regular communication and feedback mechanisms to increase the active participation of association members.
  • To follow current developments in the field of veterinary medicine and share them within the association.

Position Descriptions

1. President Assumes the general leadership of the association; conducts strategic planning and implements the association's vision. Handles official correspondence representing the association and ensures communication with academic/professional institutions. Supervises the operation of association committees and coordinates activities.

2. Vice President Assumes leadership in the absence of the President and manages association operations. Takes an active role, alongside the President, in the planning and implementation of projects. Ensures inter-committee coordination and monitors the distribution of responsibilities among members.

3. Secretary General Prepares and archives the minutes of association meetings. Ensures communication among members and is responsible for the systematic storage of documents. Ensures that official internal correspondence is carried out accurately and in a timely manner.

4. Membership and Communication Officer Plans and executes member recruitment processes. Maintains regular communication with current members; provides information regarding events and projects. Encourages the active participation of members and develops programs to increase association commitment.

5. Media Officer Manages social media platforms and the association's website. Shares event announcements, news, and success stories. Develops and implements media strategies to enhance the visibility of the association.

6. Event Coordinator Plans, organizes, and executes association events. Is responsible for the budget, venue, logistics, and participant management of the events. Prepares post-event evaluation reports and offers suggestions for improvement for future events.

7. Treasurer Creates the association budget and monitors income and expenses. Prepares financial reports and ensures the efficient utilization of financial resources. Evaluates sponsorship and donation opportunities.

8. Full Member / Regular Member Ensures active participation in association events. Supports the distribution of duties and contributes to the execution of projects. Serves as an example to other members by displaying behavior consistent with the association's objectives.
